Valentine's Day

I'm a little behind in my posting so you will have to forgive me! You will also have to forgive me for my love of holidays. I try to celebrate almost every "major" holiday and to make them special.

The day before Valentine's Day some of my students dropped off some cards (which I loved!).

I picked up a mini Valentine's Day cake for Russ and some treats for me at our favorite bakery to avoid the V-day rush.

 

The next morning Addison and I woke up early on Valentine's Day...

did I mention that I had the day off...because I did...and she didn't care

 We made sure that all of her Valentine's Day cards had been sent/received.

 I drank my morning tea out of a love-themed mug.

 I made sure that I dressed appropriately for the day

your eyes aren't deceiving you: those are high heels on my shirt

 

and Addison got dressed for Valentine's Day too.

thank you Ms. Joy for giving me some Valentine's Day hair bows for Add!

Russ and I had lunch at one of our favorite restaurants.

My parents sent us some delicious caramel apples for Valentine's Day

I gave Russ some new workout clothes, he renewed my subscription to BirchBox, and Addison gave me a bottle of wine and my favorite cookies (with some help from Russ).

We bought Addison a new Kong elephant toy. She loves it!
